Longbox
Comics. Bigger.

Digital comics deserve a room, not a window. Longbox treats the television as that room — a surface large enough for the artwork to breathe, navigated from the couch with a remote.
The premise
Most comic reading software assumes a desk and a keyboard. Longbox assumes a living room, a large screen, and a collection that already belongs to you.
The question was never how to sell comics. It was how to read the ones you already own on the best screen in the house.
The product
Longbox is a television comic reader built for Amazon Fire TV. It reads locally stored archives — CBZ, CBR, CB7, CBT — from your own library. No streaming catalog, no licensing layer, no content AVjW does not own.
The interface is remote-first: a cover wall for browsing, a reader tuned for sequential art at distance, and navigation that stays out of the way once you are inside a book. A public-domain sample library ships as onboarding; your collection is the point.
